Unnamed is a custom software studio for founders, operators, and enterprises who need software that ships on time, holds up in production, and can be handed off without a month of archaeology.

Unnamed started because we kept seeing the same problem: founders and operators with clear ideas and real budgets, stuck waiting on agencies that overpromised and underdelivered — or trying to hire engineers before they had a product to show them.
We built Unnamed to be the studio we wished existed. Small enough to be responsive, experienced enough to be opinionated, and structured in a way that puts the client's long-term interests above the studio's short-term revenue.
We are based in the US and operate fully remote. Our infrastructure runs on AWS us-east-1.

- Clarity over complexity
- We choose boring technology when it is the right answer. We explain our decisions in plain language. We write documentation future engineers can actually use.
- Scope discipline
- We write SOWs with fixed scope. We flag scope questions immediately. We do not ship what was not agreed and we do not quietly expand what was.
- Honest assessment
- If we are not the right fit for your project, we will tell you. If we think your plan has a flaw, we will say so before we start — not after.
- Ownership handoff
- Our goal is for your team to own what we build. We write code for the engineer who comes after us, not to demonstrate our cleverness.
- Long-term thinking
- We structure engagements so clients come back. That means we would rather take longer and do it right than ship fast and watch it fall apart in production.
- No retainers as a crutch
- We do not lock clients into open-ended monthly agreements. Every engagement has an exit, a handoff, and a definition of done.
